The holiday chalet is located in Högmoos/Taxenbach, approximately 15km east of Zell am See, on
the Taxenbacher
Sonnberg. The Zell am See / Schmittenhöhe ski area is only about 15 minutes by car away. This
ski area is part of the
"Alpin Card" ski pass network, which includes the ski areas of Skicircus Saalbach
Hinterglemm, Leogang, Fieberbrunn,
Zell am See, and Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun. The Kaprun Maiskogel / Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Ski Area is
approximately 16 km
away from the property. In summer, there are countless hiking trails in the surrounding area,
the Zeller See lake,
only 15 km away, offers plenty of swimming and recreational activities, and a particular
highlight is the proximity to
the Hohe Tauern National Park with guided ranger tours and numerous leisure activities.
